Leader of Gods! child of nithyasoories of Vaikuntha!

Son of Vasudeva! king of Mathura! Nandagopa’s Prince!

Cowherds’ pet lad! all this and more is Krishna! When

He played His flute, Lo and behold! The heavenly damsels

rush to Him; Their hearts melt to the music; lotus eyes

moisten; Honey laden tresses loosen, foreheads perspire;

Enchanted by the flute music, they stood stunned!
