[14] evamevāha tribhiḥ śivaḥ śaktiyutaḥ śaśvat triliṅgo guṇasaṃvṛtaḥ . vaikārikastaijasaśca tāmasaścetyahaṃ tridhā .. [bhāgavatam 10.88.3] tato vikārā abhavan ṣoḍaśāmīṣu kañcana . upadhāvan vibhūtīnāṃ sarvāsāmaśnute gatim .. [bhāgavatam 10.88.4] harirhi nirguṇaḥ sākṣāt puruṣaḥ prakṛteḥ paraḥ . sa sarvadṛgupadraṣṭā taṃ bhajannirguṇo bhavet .. iti [bhāgavatam 10.88.5] śaśvacchaktiyutaḥ prathamatastāvannityameva śaktyā guṇasāmyāvastha prakṛtirūpopādhinā yuktaḥ . guṇakṣobhe sati triliṅgo guṇatrayopādhiḥ . prakaṭeśca sadbhistairguṇaiḥ saṃvṛtaśca . nanu tamopādhitvameva tasya śrūyate kathaṃ tattadupādhitvaṃ tatrāvaikārika iti . ahamahaṃtattvaṃ hi tattadrūpeṇa tridhā . sa ca tad adhiṣṭhātyarthaḥ . tatastena bhagavatpratinidhirūpeṇādhiṣṭhitādahan tattvātṣoḍaśavikārā ye abhavanamīṣu vikāreṣu madhye sarvāsāṃ vibhūtīnāṃ sambandhinaṃ kañcana upadhāvan tadupādhikatvena tam upāsīno gatiṃ prāpyaṃ phalaṃ labhate . hi prasiddhau hetau vā . haristu prakṛterupādhitaḥ parastaddharmairaspṛṣṭaḥ . ataeva trirguṇo'pi kutas triliṅgatvādikamiti bhāvaḥ . tatra hetuḥ sākṣādeva puruṣa īśvaraḥ . na tu pratibimbavadvyavadhānenetyarthaḥ . ato vidyāvidye mama tanū [bhāgavatam 11.11.3] itivattanuśabdopādānātkutracitsattvaśaktitvaśravaṇamapi prekṣādimātreṇopakāritvāditi bhāvaḥ . ataeva sarveṣāṃ śivabrahmādīnāṃ dṛkjñānaṃ yasmāttathābhūtaḥ sannupadraṣṭā tadādisākṣī bhavati . ataḥ sa taṃ bhajannirguṇo bhavedguṇātītaphalabhāgbhavatīti ..10.88.. śrī śukaḥ ..14.. īśvara iti na mantavyaṃ kintu viṣvātmaka eva saḥ iti hi tatrārthaḥ . taduktaṃ brahmaṇi brahmarūpaḥ sa ity [Vāmanaড়] ādi . na ca prakāśasya sākṣādasākṣādrūpatvādtāratamyaṃ vayaṃ kalpayāmaḥ paraṃ śāstrameva vakti . śāstraṃ tu darśitam . evaṃ bhagavad avatārānukramaṇikāsu trayāṇāṃ bhedamaṅgīkṛtyaiva kevalasya śrīdattasya gaṇanā sīmadūrvāsostvagaṇanā . kiṃ ca brāhme brahmavaivarte ca brahmavākyaṃ nāhaṃ śivo na cānye ca tacchaktyekāṃbhāginaḥ . bālakrīḍanakairyadvat krīḍate'smābhiracyutaḥ .. iti . ataeva śrutau yaṃ kāmaye tamugraṃ kṛṇomi taṃ brahmāṇaṃ tamuṣiṃ taṃ sumedhāmityuktvā mama yonirapsvantariti [ṛgveda 10.125.5,7] śakti vacanam . apsvantariti kāraṇodaśāyī sūcyate . āpo nārā iti proktā ityādeḥ . yoniḥ kāraṇam . evameva skānde brahmeśānādibhirdevair yatprāptuṃ naiva śakyate . tadvatsvabhāvaḥ kaivalyaṃ sa bhavān kevaolhare .. iti . tathā viṣṇusāmānyadarśino doṣaḥ śrūyate . yathā vaiṣṇavatantre na labheyuḥ punarbhaktiṃ hareraikāntikīṃ jaḍāḥ . aikā yaṃ manasaścāpi viṣṇusāmānyadarśinaḥ .. iti . anyatra yastu nārāyaṇaṃ devaṃ brahmarudrādidaivataiḥ . samatvenaiva vīkṣeta sa pāṣaṇḍī bhaveddhruvam .. iti [Vaiṣṇavatantra] . tathā ca mantravarṇaḥ . madhye vāmanamāsīnaṃ viśve devā upāsata [Kaṭhaū 2.2.3] iti . nanu kvacidanyaśāstre śivasyaiva paramadevatvamucyate satyaṃ tathāpi śāstrasya sārāsāratvavivekena tadvādhitamiti . tathā ca pādmaśaivayor umāṃ prati śrīśivena śrīviṣṇuvākyamanukṛtam tvāmārādhya tayā śambho grahīṣyāmi varaṃ sadā . dvāparādau yuge bhūtvā pralayā manuṣādiṣu .. svāgamaiḥ kalpitaistvaṃ tu janānmadvimukhaṃ kuru . māṃ ca gopaya yena syātsṛṣṭireṣottarottarā .. iti . vārāhe ca eṣa mahīṃ sṛjāmyāśu yo janānmohayiṣyati . tvaṃ ca rudra mahābāho mohaśāstrāṇi kāraya .. atathyāni vitathyāni darśayasva mahābhuja . prakāśaṃ kuru cātmānamaprakāśaṃ ca māṃ kuru .. iti . purāṇānāṃ ca madhye yadyattāmasakalpakathāmayaṃ tacchivādimahima paramiti śrīviṣṇupratipādakapurāṇasyaiva samyagjñānapradatvam . sattvātsañjāyate jñānamiti darśanāt . tathā ca mātsye sāttvikeṣu ca kalpeṣu māhātmyamadhikaṃ hareḥ . rājaseṣu ca māhātmyamadhikaṃ brahmaṇo viduḥ .. tadvadagneśca māhātmyaṃ tāmaseṣu śivasya ca . saṅkīrṇeṣu sarasvatyāḥ pitṝṇāṃ ca nigadyate .. iti . ata uktaṃ skānde ṣaṇmukhaṃ prati śrīśivena śivaśāstreṣu tadgrāhyaṃ bhagavacchāstrayogiṣat . paramo viṣṇurevaikastajjñānaṃ mokṣasādhanam . śāstrāṇāṃ nirṇayastveṣastadanyanmohanāya hi .. iti . tathaiva ca draṣṭuṃ mokṣadharme nārāyaṇopākhyāne sāṃkhyaṃ yogaṃ pañcarātraṃ vedāḥ pāśupataṃ tathā . jñānānyetāni rājarṣe viddhi nānā matāni vai .. sāṃkhyasya vaktā kapilaḥ paramarṣiḥ sa ucyate . hiraṇyagarbho yogasya vettā nānyaḥ purātanaḥ .. apāntaratamāścaiva vedācāryaḥ sa ucyate . prācīna garbhaṃ tamṛṣiṃ pravadantīha ke cana .. umāpatirbhūtapatiḥ śrīkantho brahmaṇaḥ sutaḥ . uktavānidamavyagro jñānaṃ pāśupataṃ śivaḥ .. pañcarātrasya kṛtsnasya vettā tu bhagavān svayam . sarveṣu ca nṛpaśreṣṭha jñāneṣveteṣu dṛśyate .. yathāgamaṃ yathā jñānaṃ niṣṭhā nārāyaṇaḥ prabhuḥ . na cainamevaṃ jānanti tamo bhūtā viśāṃ pate .. tameva śāstrakartāraṃ pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ . niṣṭhāṃ nārāyaṇamṛṣiṃ nānyo'stīti ca vādinaḥ .. niḥsaṃśayeṣu sarveṣu nityaṃ vasati vai hariḥ . sasaṃśayān hetubalānnādhyāvasati mādhavaḥ .. pañcarātravido ye tu yathākramaparā nṛpa . ekāntabhāvopagatāste hariṃ praviśanti vai .. sāṃkhyaṃ ca yogaṃ ca sanātane dve vedāśca sarve nikhilena rājan . sarvaiḥ samastairṛṣibhirnirukto nārāyaṇo viśvamidaṃ purāṇam .. iti [ṃBh12.337.5968] atropāntaratamā iti śrīkṛṣṇadvaipāyanasyaiva janmāntaranāmaviśeṣa iti tatraiva jñeyam . atraivaṃ vyākhyeyam . pañcarātrasammataṃ śrīnārāyaṇam eva sarvottamatvena vaktuṃ nānāmataṃ darśayati . sāṅkhyamiti . tatra pañcarātrameva gariṣṭhamācaṣṭai pañcarātrasyaitnādau bhagavān svayam iti . atha dvau bhūtasargau loke'smin daiva āsura eva ca iti śrīgītāsu [gītā 16.6] śrūyate . yadeva tāni nānāmatānītyuktaṃ tattvāsuraprakṛty anusāreṇeti jñeyam . daivaprakṛtayastu tattatsarvāvalokena pañcarātra pratipādye śrīnārāyaṇa eva paryavasyantītyāha sarveṣviti . āsurāstu nindati na cainamiti . taduktaṃ viṣṇudharmāgnipurāṇayoḥ dvau bhūtasargau loke'smin daiva āsura eva ca . viṣṇubhaktiparo daiva āsurastadviparyayaḥ .. iti . nanu tatra tatra nānāmataya eva dṛśyante tatrāha tameva iti . pañcarātretaraśāstrakartāro hi dvividhāḥ kiñcijjñāḥ sarvajñāśca . tatrādyā yathā svasvajñānānusāreṇa yatkiñcittattvaikadeśaṃ vadanti nāsābhirāsurāṇāṃ mohanārthameva kṛtāni śāstrāṇi kintu daivānāṃ vyatirekeṇa bodhanārtham . te hi rajastamaḥśabalasya khaṇḍasya ca tattvasya tathā kleśabahulasya sādhanasya pratipādakānyetāni śāstrāṇi dṛṣṭvā vedāṃśca durgān dṛṣṭvā nirvidya sarvavedārthasārasya śuddhākhaṇḍa tattvaśrīnārāyaṇasya sukhamayatadārādhanasya ca suṣṭhu pratipādake pañcarātre eve gāḍhaṃ pravekṣyantīti . tadetadāha niḥsaṃśayeṣviti . tasmāj jhaṭiti vedārthapratipattaye pañcarātramevādhetavyamityāha . pañcarātreti . yata evaṃ tata upasaṃharati sāṅkhyaṃ ca yogaśceti . tadevaṃ pañcarātrapratipādyasya śrībhagavata evamutkarṣe sthite ātmārāmāśca munaya ityādyasakṛdapūrvamupadiśatā śrībhāgavatena pratipādya rūpasya tasya kimutetyapi vivecanīyam . tadetaduktānusāreṇa sadā śiveśvaratridevīrūpavyūho'pi nirastaḥ . tasmādeva ca śrībhagavat puruṣayoreva śaivāgame sadāśivādisaṃjñe tanmahimakhyāpanāya dhṛta iti gamyate . sarvaśāstraśiromaṇau śrībhāgavate tu tridevyāmeva tat tāratamyajijñāsā puruṣabhagavatostu tatprasaṅga eva nāsti . nanu na te giritrākhilalokapālaviriñcivaikuṇṭhasurendragamyam . jyotiḥ paraṃ yatra rajastamaśca sattvaṃ na yadbrahma nirastabhedamity [bhāgavatam 8.7.31] atra tasya paratvaṃ śrūyate evāṣṭame . maivam . mahimnā stūyamānā hi devā vīryeṇa vardhatu iti vaidika nyāyena tadyukteḥ . sa hi stavaḥ kālakūṭanāśanārtha iti . tatraiva prīte harau bhagavati prīye'haṃ sacarācara iti [bhāgavatam 8.7.40] . tathā navame vayaṃ na tāta prabhavāma bhūmni yasmin pare'nye'pyajajīvakoṣāḥ . bhavanti kāle na bhavanti hīdṛśāḥ sahasraśo yatra vayaṃ bhramāmaḥ .. iti [bhāgavatam 9.4.56] ete vayaṃ yasya vaśe matātmanaḥ sthitāḥ śakuntā iva sūtrayantritāḥ . iti ca tadvākyavirodhātathavā yatśivasya jyotistatra sthitaṃ paramātmākhyaṃ caitanyaṃ tatsamyagjñāne tasyāpyakṣamatā yuktaiva . yaduktam dyupatayaḥ eva te na yayurantamanantatayā tvamasīti [bhāgavatam 10.87.41] . brahmasaṃhitamate tu bhagavadaṃśaviśeṣa eva sadāśivo na tvanyaḥ . yathā tatraiva sarvādikāraṇagovindakathane niyatiḥ sā ramādevī tatpriyā tadvaśaṃvadā . talliṅge bhagavān śambhurjyotī rūpaḥ sanātanaḥ .. yā yoniḥ sā parā śaktirityādi tasmināvirbhabhūlliṅge mahāviṣṇurityādyantam .. tadetadabhipretya sadāśivatvādiprasiddhimapyākṣipyāha . athāpi yatpadanakhāvasṛṣṭaṃ jagadviriñcopahṛtārhaṇāmbhaḥ . seśaṃ punātyanyatamo mukundāt ko nāma loke bhagavatpadārthaḥ .. [bhāgavatam 1.18.21] spaṣṭam ..1.18.. śrīsūtaḥ ..17.. [18] tasmānnāhaṃ na ca śivo'nye ca tacchaktyekāṃśabhāginaḥ ityevoktaṃ sādhyeva ityāha . brahmā bhavo'hamapi yasya kalāḥ kalāyā iti [bhāgavatam 10.68.37] . śeṣaṃ spaṣṭam ..10.68.. śrībaladevaḥ ..18.. [19] atha paramātmaparikareṣu jīvastasya ca taṭasthalakṣaṇaṃ kṣetrajña etā ity evoktaṃ svarūpalakṣaṇaṃ pādmottarakhaṇḍādikamanusṛtya śrī rāmānujācāryādatiprācīnena śrīvaiṣṇavasampradāyaguruṇā śrī jāmātṛmuninopadiṣṭam . tatra praṇavavyākhyāne pādmottarakhaṇḍaṃ yathā jñānāśrayo jñānaguṇaścetanaḥ prakṛteḥ paraḥ . na jāto nirvikāraśca ekarūpaḥ svarūpabhāk .. aṇurnityo vyāptiśīlaścidānandātmakastathā . ahamartho'vyayaḥ kṣetrī bhinnarūpaḥ sanātanaḥ .. adāhyo'cchedya akledya aśoṣyo'kṣara eva ca . evamādhiguṇairyuktaḥ śeṣabhūtaḥ parasya vai .. makāreṇocyate jīvaḥ kṣetrajñaḥ paravān sadā . dāsabhūto harereva nānyasyaiva kadācana .. iti . śrījāmātṛmunināpyupadiṣṭaṃ, yathā ātmā na devo na naro na tiryaksthāvaro na ca . na deho nendriyaṃ naiva manaḥ prāṇo na nāpi dhīḥ .. na jaḍo na vikārī ca jñānamātrātmako na ca . svasmai svayaṃ prakāśaḥ syādekarūpaḥ svarūpabhāk .. cetano vyāptiśīlaśca cidānandātmakastathā . ahamarthaḥ pratikṣetraṃ bhinno'ṇurnityanirmalaḥ .. tathā jñātṛtvakartṛtvabhoktṛtvanijadharmakaḥ . paramātmaikaśeṣatvasvabhāvaḥ sarvadā svataḥ .. iti . śrīrāmānujabhāṣyānusāreṇa vyākhyā ceyam . tatra devāditvaṃ nirastam evāsti tattvasandarbhe . aṇḍeṣu peśiṣu taruṣvaviniściteṣu prāṇo hi jīvamupadhāvati tatra tatra . sanne yadindriyagaṇe'hami ca prasupte kūṭastha āśayamṛte tadanusmṛtirnaḥ .. [bhāgavatam 11.3.39] ityanena .. dehāditvaṃ nirasyannāha vilakṣaṇaḥ sthūlasūkṣmād dehādātmekṣitā svadṛk . yathāgnirdāruṇo dāhyād dāhako'nyaḥ prakāśakaḥ .. [bhāgavatam 11.10.8] vilakṣaṇatve heturīkṣitā tasya draṣṭā prakāśakaśca svayaṃ tu svadṛksva prakāśa iti .. śrībhagavān ..19.. [20] jaḍatvaṃ nirasyannāha jāgratsvapnasuṣuptaṃ ca guṇato buddhivṛttayaḥ . tāsāṃ vilakṣaṇo jīvaḥ sākṣitvena viniścitaḥ .. [bhāgavatam 11.13.27] yā tu mayi turye sthito jahyādityādau [bhāgavatam 11.13.28] parameśvare'pi turyatva prasiddhiḥ sānyathaiva . virāṭhiraṇyagarbhaśca kāraṇaṃ cetyupādhayaḥ . īśvarasya yattribhirhīnaṃ turīyaṃ tatpadaṃ viduḥ .. [*EṇḍṇOṭE ॰4] ityādyuktervāsudevasya caturvyūhe turyakakṣākrāntatvād vā ..11.13.. śrībhagavān ..20.. [21] vikāritvaṃ nirasyannāha visargādyāḥ śmaśānāntā bhāvā dehasya nātmanaḥ . kalānāmiva candrasya kālenāvyaktavartmanā .. [bhāgavatam 11.7.48] candrasya jalamayamaṇḍalatvātkalānāṃ sūryapraticchavirūpajyotir ātmatvātyathā kalānāmeva janmādyā nāśāntā bhāvā na tu candrasya tathā dehasyaiva te bhāvā avyaktavartmanā kālena bhavanti na tvātmana ityarthaḥ . śrīdattātreyo yadum ..21.. [22] jñānātmako na ceti kiṃ tarhi jñānamātratve'pi jñānaśaktitvaṃ prakāśasya prakāśanaśaktitvavattādṛktvamapi . nātmā jajāna na mariṣyati naidhate'sau na kṣīyate savanavidvyabhicāriṇāṃ hi . sarvatra śaśvadanapāyyupalabdhimātraṃ prāṇo yathendriyabalena vikalpitaṃ sat .. ityanena [bhāgavatam 11.3.37] tattvasandarbha eva darśitam . upalabdhimātratve'pi sabalavattvenokteḥ . ataeva śuddho vicaṣṭe hyaviśuddhakarturityuktam . prakārāntareṇāpi tad āha guṇairvicitrāḥ sṛjatīṃ sarūpāḥ prakṛtiṃ prajāḥ . vilokya mumuhe sadyaḥ sa iha jñānagūhayā .. [bhāgavatam 3.26.5] ajñānenāvṛtaṃ jñānaṃ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ [gītā 5.15] iti ..3.26.. śrīkapiladevaḥ ..22.. [23] śaktyantaraṃ cāhuḥ sa yadajayā tvajāmanuśayīta guṇāṃśca juṣan bhajati sarūpatāṃ tadanu mṛtyumupetabhaga iti [bhāgavatam 10.87.38] .. ṭīkā ca sa tu jīvaḥ yadyasmādajayā māyayā ajāmavidyāmanuśayīta āliṅgyeta tato guṇāṃśca dehendriyādīn guṣan sevamānaḥ ātmatayā adhyasyan tadanu tadanantaraṃ sarūpatāṃ taddharmayogaṃ ca juṣanapeta bhagaḥ pihitānandādiguṇaḥ sanmṛtyuṃ saṃsāraṃ bhajati prāpnoti ity eṣā ..10.87.. śrutayaḥ ..23..
