Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss English. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

Interviewer: How do you use English in your daily life?

Student: I speak English at school and I will also take an English exam, so this is a very necessary language for me. I also practice English with my tutor.

Interviewer: Do your relatives know English well?

Student: Unfortunately my relatives don’t know English well and, of course, it's very sad. But if my parents knew English, I could practice it with them.

Interviewer: Should public schools put more emphasis on the English language? Why?

Student:

Interviewer: How does English help people in different countries?

Student: I think that English is very important language because 1. 5 billion people speak it all over the world. English helps peoples of the world to speak to and understand each other. When you travel on business or as a tourist in any country, you can speak English and a lot of people will be able to understand you, so the language becomes a great help. Everybody knows that using a foreign language can make your life more successful and interesting

Interviewer: In your opinion, will another language take over the English’s role of an international language Student: I strongly believe that the English language for a very long time will be an international. Because English is very easy to learn compared it to other languages, such as French or Italian. And that is why the majority of children and youth begins their linguistics from that language. And it can be used for communication between people who don't know each other's language also.
