Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss holidays. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

Interviewer: What region of Russia do you live in? Do you have a region-specific holiday?

Student: I live in Rostov-on-Don. There are a lot of holidays in my region, for example Harvest Festival. It is the holiday dedicated to the harvest, fertility and family well-being.

Interviewer: Who do you usually celebrate holidays with?

Student: Usually I spend holidays in the circle of my nearest and dearest. I really appreciate it, as it is another occasion for my family reunion.

Interviewer: What is the most important holiday for you? Why?

Student: My favorite holiday is Christmas I really enjoy this time due to Christmas spirit In the air and bustle everywhere.

Interviewer: If you could add a new holiday, what would it be?

Student: Well, it is a very good question. As for me, I would add Earth Day. It will be an official holiday. I think we owe a lot more thanks to our planet. Moreover, we must keep our planet free of waste and air pollution.

Interviewer: Why are holidays important for most people in the world?

Student: I think that holidays are important for everybody because during this time we can relax from daily routine and spend our time with family. They are supposed to be a relief from stress and other business, giving time for recovery and rest in the pleasant companionship.
