Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss science. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

Interviewer: What science is your favorite? Why?

Student: My favorite science is Biology. Because I really like to study plants and animals. As for me, biology the most interesting subject ever. I've been studying biology since 6 grade and I think everyone needs to know this subject.

Interviewer: How does the scientific progress benefit the world?

Student: Science is a way of building knowledge about the universe, constructing new ideas that illuminate the world. With the help of scientific discoveries, many interesting things about our planet become known to us.

Interviewer: Do schools need to focus more on science?

Student: I believe that should need to allow children to focus on a specific scientific field of their choice. Science is an important component of our life for both a child and an adult.

Interviewer: Would you like to work as a scientist? Why?

Student: No, I don’t want to be a scientist. It is a very difficult, responsible and laborious profession. It requires a lot of perseverance. A scientist is a person who has to surrender completely to his work. I prefer to engage in different activities rather than speed half of my life working on the invention. So I do not want to be a scientist.

Interviewer: If you could focus on inventing a single thing, what would it be?

Student: Well, this is a very interesting question. I would create a thing that would simplify our lives. For example, microwave oven for defrosting products. I think that is really good idea, why not?
