Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss hobbies. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started. Interviewer: Could you tell us what is unusual about Russia? Student: I would say that foreigners are often surprised by our facial expressions on the streets and in public places. It happens because we don`t smile without a reason everywhere. Some may think that this is because Russians are serious or unhappy people; however it is not the truth. Once we are among friends, colleagues or close relatives, we have fun and laugh together. Interviewer: What kinds of hobbies do people usually have in your country? Student: There is a countless list of hobbies that Russians can have. Many people work out in the gym, read books, go fishing in their free time. Nowadays one of the most popular and widespread hobby is blogging ( blog writing). Interviewer: What is your first hobby? Do you still do it? Student: My first hobby was soccer. I real liked this hobby but now I don’t play because my interests have changed and now I prefer to read books and watch educational films. I have a lot of friends and good memories due to this hobby.
Interviewer: How do you spend your free time now? Student: Now I spend my free time quite boring, I prepare for upcoming exams and help my parents. Sometimes I watch films, but I don't like to waste my time. You always need to grow, study and develop your skills.
Interviewer: What hobby would you like to pick up in the future? Why? Student: I would really like to try volleyball in the nearest future. I think it is something that sparks joy, so it will be fun to try this activity! Besides that, it is a sport and that is why it will help me to stay fit, healthy and good looking. I definitely recommend everybody to try this hobby!
Interviewer: Thank you very much for your interview.
