Students who enjoy gaming are not at a loss when facing digital obstacles andare able to find a solutionfor any academic or educational challenge. Video games are primarily recreationalactivities and the cognitive stimulation they produce is very different from the one involved in specialized academic subjects.
Gaming Improves Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking Skills, and Creativity, Attention and Memory Capacity. A video game requires you to make smart decisions quickly. It forces students to remain constantly alert and focused, thus gradually improving their attention span and memorization skills, allowing players to concentrate easily and focus in a way that is almost impossible in a traditional class environment. Using digital technology in class can distract students from the main goal of studying. Video games aren't a magical pill for boosting IQ, or transforming poor students into excellent ones.
Gaming breathes life into educationand boosts motivation. It transforms learning into an enjoyable, thrilling process where students are the main characters in the story and their success is rewarded with medals, extra lives, bonuses, etc. This captures and keeps their interest in learning. Gaming for a long time negatively affects eyesight and results in Insomnia. Getting more screen time from a close distance definitely contributes towards myopia.
Gaming Develops Soft Skills. To achieve a goal, players must either work together or compete against each other, which leads them to refine their ability to develop relationships. Additionally, success in gaming translates to better self-esteem, motivation, and engagement. Behavioral and mental changes. Children may lose interest in the environment that surrounds them.
