The Graduate. Family life. Looking for a job. Collective redundancy

The Graduate

I am a student and I am about to graduate within the next five months. My major is primary education and teaching English. I know I don't have much experience in this field, although I have been baby-sitting for my neighbors for the last three years and taken care of my two younger siblings. How should I work on my CV and prepare for the interview to win a position at the school?

Family life

I am a mother of three wonderful kids. It's been six years since I have been married and my children are two, three and five years old. Previously, before starting a family I worked in an office of a large insurance company. I was a secretary and organized daily and monthly schedules for my boss. This was my only job since I graduated and I did it for three years. I like cooking, gardening and with three kids I've become even better organized then before. Due to financial setbacks my husband’s salary is not enough for us now. What job could I take and how should I present my features to a potential employer?

Looking for a job

How should I deal with employment gaps in my resume? There's a 4-month period in which I was looking for jobs, while working on side projects and apps. These projects were not very successful and I made barely any money. How could I explain this period during a job interview if there is really nothing to brag about?

Collective redundancy

I spent 22 years working in the entertainment industry, with the last seven of those years employed as a senior manager. After my company moved its operations overseas several years ago, our office was closed and all domestic employees were laid off. I’ve never had any other working experience and right now I don’t know what to do.
