Wizards

Gandalf the Grey

Gandalf is a wise and power wizard. He knows the story and power of the One Ring. He guides Frodo and the Fellowship on their dangerous quest.

Saruman the White

Saruaman is a powerful wizard. Now, he may be evil and working with the Dark Lord, Sauron.

Sauron

Sauron is the Dark Lord. He made the One Ring so he could control all the races. He is the most powerful creature in Middle-earth. He put most of his power in the One Ring. He cannot be killed until the One Ring is destroyed.

Elves

Elves are the oldest of the races. They are related to men. They are immortal -- they never get sick or die (unless they are killed). They see very well, and are very good fighters, especially as archers.

Legolas

Legolas is an elf, and part of the Fellowship of the Ring. He is a strong fighter and an excellent archer. He helps Frodo in his quest to destroy the One Ring.

Elrond

Elrond is a strong and wise elf. He lives in Rivendell. During the War of the Ring, Rivendell is a safe place for the elves.

Galadriel

Galadriel is the queen of the elves. She is beautiful, wise, and kind. She gives the Fellowship special gifts to help them on their quest.

Arwen

Arwen is the daughter of Elrond. She rescues Frodo from the Dark Riders. She helps the Fellowship during their quest.
