General. Art/Reference. Asset usage
Chapter 1. 4: Hatter’s Domain Entrance Tutorial prompts/areas are marked in blue. Deaths/Combat Areas are marked in red. Story/Plot cinematics are marked in green. General · This area is the outer wall and main gate of the Hatter’s domain. It has been largely forgotten now, left to rust and ruin. Giant [b1] clockwork mechanical shapes jut out from the towering wall. The distant sound of industry can be heard. · Small loads of junk occasionally fall from high above, as if dumped over the top of the wall. [b2] · Platforms run along the edge of the wall, linking major landmark areas together. · Displaced Madcaps have settled in front the main gate (Map Ref 3). Alice must pass through their small fortified town [b3] to proceed. Art/Reference · Massive wall. Really massive. But still detailed where it counts! · No longer in use (except by Madcaps camping out here) · Asset usage · Please have a meeting with Ken before starting asset placement! · We will make hero assets for the wall: HatterExtWall (probably internal). These will consist of several towers and several wall sections. They will be more detailed at the play area. We will make special versions with holes. · The Madcaps will have metal huts here, not porcelain. New asset MadCapPot (Jan work order) · The Madcaps have made platforms from scrap metal: ScrapMetal (internal). They should look weak and messy. · Do not add unnecessary clutter around the wall! Just the necessary platforms and pipes. · We will make one hero steam pipe which should always be used with steam. · There are a couple of gears sticking out from gear slots.
