The opportunity for one of your students to earn a B. Sc degree in the USA, fully paid for by the
Kronospan Foundation

The Kronospan Scholarship is one of the core engagements of the Kronospan Foundation, through which we offer the opportunity to one young hopeful every year, to earn a Bachelor’s degree at Babson College, America’s #1 school for Entrepreneurship. Because this is a need-based scholarship, the Kronospan Foundation covers all related costs throughout the four years of study, including tuition, housing, textbooks, health insurance and transport to and from the USA.

Since the scholarship programme has started in 2011, we have been honoured to send five very bright and promising candidates to Babson College, Claudia Ogrezeanu (Romania), Kamil Altintasoglu (Romania), Lizaveta Litvinava (Belarus), Hai Peter Pham (Hungary) and Daniel Gasperowicz (Poland).

The Kronospan Foundation is delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to apply for this programme to the students at your school. We hope that you will share our enthusiasm and promote the scholarship in your school’s community.

In order to apply for the scholarship (enrolment in fall 2018), students need to register at scholarship. kronospanfoundation. org and submit their application online before the general deadline,
September 17^th, 2017.

To complete an application, each candidate will have to provide the following documents (written or translated into English, simple translations):

Ш Curriculum Vitae

Ш Essay (an essay of about 250 words that will help us better understand the candidate as an individual)

Ш Secondary School Transcript / Mid- Year Grade Report

Ш Letter of Recommendation (from a teacher, counselor, employer or mentor)

Ш The Kronospan Supplement

Students applying for this scholarship will have to demonstrate an exceptional academic performance and will likely graduate towards the top of their class. They will additionally have held leadership positions and dedicated time to the improvement of their communities. Within this programme, the scholars will be offered summer and winter internship programmes at Kronospan beginning after the first year and positioning the student for a position of employment within the company after the completion of the scholarship. Kronospan and Babson College are looking for highly motivated, entrepreneurial young people who will be inspired by the opportunity to study in one of the world’s premier universities, network with other brilliant students and one day contribute positively to their communities.

The Kronospan Foundation was founded in 2011 by the global wood-based panel manufacturer Kronospan (www. kronospan-worldwide. com). Our mission, vision and values are rooted in the core principles of the company, focusing on reinvesting resources into local communities and promoting sustainable development. We want to place a special focus on what we believe are moral foundations of a healthy society – the protection and preservation of our natural environment as well as providing children with the necessary educational opportunities in order to be successful in life.
