   Hi Vanessa!

This summer I am going on holiday to Barcelona in Spain with my family. We'll be there for ten days. We're going to stay in a house near the beach which will be perfect for sunbathing!

We're planning on seeing all the tourist hotspots like the beautiful church, Sagrada Familia and the aquarium. I'm looking forward to trying lots of local dishes. My parents are going to go on a guided tour to learn about the history of the city. I think it'll be a great holiday!

How about you? Are you going on holiday somewhere?

   Hi, Matt!

How's it going? I've just got back from the Food Festival in Loch Lomond, Scotland. It was great! We watched some live music and there were chefs cooking in food demonstrations. We tried the local produce which was delicious!

I tried crab for the first time and it was the best thing I've ever tasted. It was served with a big, fresh salad and bread – you should try it. I think you would really like it. I also entered the haggis eating competition. You must eat as much haggis as possible in five minutes. I didn't win but it was a lot of fun!
