   Hi, Mike!

My new house is great! It's opposite the park, on a quiet street in London. It's got a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms, four bedrooms and a big garden. I have got my own room. It's got a double bed and a desk where I can do my homework. There is also a bookcase with lots of books. The walls are green, my favourite colour! There are posters of my favourite films on the walls.

I can't wait to show you my new house. How about next weekend? Let me know.

   Please write soon,

   Linda

   Hi, Emily!

How are you? I'd like to tell you about my best friend, Jessica. She's fourteen and is very kind and funny but she can be serious too! She is short and slim with brown hair and blue eyes. We're in the same class. We usually walk home together after school and at weekends we often go shopping in the city centre. On Saturdays, we sometimes go to the cinema. She always makes me laugh and we have fun together – that's why she's my best friend!

What about your best friend? Write back soon.

   Bye for now,

   Alyssa
