Scene 5 - The Party

Narrator 3. Everyone is ready for the party and Ugly and Mug go into the kitchen.

Narrator 4. There is a big table with lots of lovely things to eat.

Ugly: Here's the menu.

Mug: Yum, yum, yummy! What are the Main Courses?

Ugly: There's Crocodile Supreme, that looks delicious, the crocodile has a jack o'lantern in his mouth!

Mug: Yum, yum, yummy! Then there's Fried Worms and Boiled Bats' Wings.

Narrator 5: The boys stop talking and the chef comes into the kitchen.

Ugly: Oh! Here's the chef!

Chef: Good evening boys, can I help you?

Mug: We are looking at the menu and the delicious food we are going to eat this evening.

Chef: Yes, everything is very special. The Crunchy Beetles and the Slippery Snake are delicious. And we have a wonderful cheese with mixed insects.

Ugly: What's for dessert?

Chef: We have two desserts, a wonderful chocolate cake with delicious coloured lizards and lovely spider muffins! And to drink we have Hyena milk, Crocodile smoothie or if you prefer Black Sea Water.

Ugly and Mug: Thank you Chef. We like your menu, it really is yum, yum yummy!!!!

Narrator 6: Ugly and Mug go onto the terrace to play with the other children.

Narrator 7: The children are all listening to Ugly and Mug tell a Halloween poem.

Ugly and Mug:

In a dark, dark forest there's a dark, dark house,

And in that dark, dark house there's a dark, dark room,

And in that dark, dark room there's a dark, dark cupboard,

And in that dark, dark cupboard there's a dark, dark shelf,

And on that dark, dark shelf there's a dark, dark, box,

And in that dark, dark box there's a … GHOST!!!
