Move Coordinator

Objectives:
Hop To It Movers Ltd. is a moving company that helps people and businesses move their household goods from one place to another. It offers all-inclusive services for relocations like packing, loading, moving, unloading, unpacking and arranging of items to be relocated.
We are currently seeking an experienced customer service representative to assist in the day-to-day coordination of consumer relocations. Throughout the moving process, the Move Coordinator is of great importance, handling the operation from the beginning to the end. This can include a wide range of tasks, including providing cost estimates and final payment information, arranging the time and date on which the relocation will begin, and estimating the amount of time required to complete the move. They are also responsible for resolving any customer problems or complaints associated with the moving services. Working as a Move Coordinator can be a very rewarding experience, as the job varies from liaising with clients and colleagues to the completion of any necessary paperwork. The Move Coordinator is a valued member of the moving team and they hold the main responsibility when working with the clients, ensuring the move is as smooth as a possible for the client and the movers.
Interested candidates will be tasked with the responsibilities listed below in addition to other duties assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- A Move Coordinator job involves the completion of all tasks set by management, but their main tasks involve liaising with clients, updating and maintaining any paperwork regarding the job and reporting to the owner on a regular basis.
- When working as a move coordinator, a person typically has the job of planning and coordinating all that has to come together for a successful relocation. Perform scheduling tasks, be required to carefully schedule moves to ensure that a company can provide relocation services to customers without showing up late or having to cancel. Will also work with customers on choosing the best date and time for a move. Negotiating the price of a move with a customer as well as the details of the contract. Perform customer service tasks, including answering any questions a customer may have and dealing with problems that arise.
- Besides serving as the contact person for customers, a person with this title could also serve as a main point of contact for all others who are involved in the move.
- A Move Coordinator must calmly and efficiently communicate with current and prospective clients, providing any required information and maintaining correspondence throughout the moving process.
- The Move Coordinator handles a lot of confidential documentation, and must process quotations, accurately entering any new data into the system, obtaining and completing moving proposal contracts and sending the client with the successful completion of the moving contracts.
- Working in a moving job role also means that you must closely work with movers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- The Move Coordinator must learn all policies and legislation of the Company and abide by them.
Qualifications:
- You must be educated to a high school level.
- Ability to proficiently speak, read and understand English
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed within the time zone (mountain standard time), which is nine hours behind Ukraine.
- Must possess a computer and smartphone and must have a strong internet connection on both devices
- Professional in speech and written communication
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a keyboard and telephone number pad
- Must have strong attention to detail as all client files and computer systems require detailed instructions and regular updates before, during and after the moving job.
- Must be high-energy, enthusiastic and self-motivated with exceptional customer service abilities as they must regularly stay in contact with the client and the owner to meet all of their requirements and keep them up to date about the moving process.
- Must also be extremely organised as the job revolves around the completion of documentation in an organised system able to be viewed and easily understood by other departments.
- Working with movers and customers means that you must also be able to keep to time and cost constraints even when under pressure.
- You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and any other standard industry software.
- Motivated to succeed in a competitive environment and must possess a solid work ethic
What We Offer: We offer a 2 percent commission on all orders booked and completed plus monthly incentives when the company meets or exceeds sales goals.
