BREAKFAST
SUGGESTION FOR ANSWER KEY BREAKFAST Lots of British people just have a bowl of cereals or toast with butter or jam/marmalade and a cup of tea for breakfast. However, the traditional English breakfast (though it may vary) consists of main ingredients as fried/scrambled eggs, (baked) beans, sausages, bacon, black pudding, fried tomatoes and mushrooms. LUNCH A ‘packed’ lunch for school children and adults at work will usually consists of sandwiches, a packet of crisps, a piece of fruit and something to drink as tea, coffee, milk or juice.
DINNER – (EVENING) SUPPER - TEA A traditional British dinner meal is known as ‘meat and two veg’, which usually consisted of meat, gravy and two different vegetables where one of them usually being potatoes. Today, many British people eat curry, according to a recent survey. Other very popular dinner meals include rice or pasta. Typical dinner vegetables are potatoes, carrots, beans, cabbages and onions. Also, let us not forget fish and chips!
