4. Your friend is going to visit Great Britain, advise him/her how to behave and treat the British.
When you travel to any country it’s important to know how to behave there. Having a basic understanding of culture and etiquette['etɪket] helps avoid awkward misunderstandings.
First of all, the British are reserved and famous for their good manners. So basic politeness - please, thank you, excuse me - is expected. It is good manners to say and is rude if you don’t. If you bump into someone, say “sorry”. This is a habit. When in Britain do smile: a smiling face is a welcoming face. It’s not advisable to ask personal questions. Keep in mind the British like to form orderly queues and wait patiently for their turn, for example, boarding a bus. “Queue jumping” is frowned upon. It’s polite to open doors for other people, avoid talking loudly in public, backslapping and hugging. This is only done among close friends.
Knowing these simple rules will make the journey more pleasant.

5. What stereotypes connected with the Belarusians do you know?
There are many stereotypes concerning our nation. To make up a “portrait” of a typical Belarusian we should say that first of all Belarusians are peaceful people. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is, what kind of god you believe in and where you come from you will be accepted as you are.
Another feature is hospitality. We’ll cover a table for guests even having a small amount of money. Our people always help each other and are ready to “give the last shirt”. Belarusians are diligentand hardworking. Young Belarusians are taught to be responsible for their work.
Despite many difficulties, most Belarusians continue to love and appreciate their country. About 79% say they are proud of Belarus and their nationality. Most of us are patriotic.
If I were limited to just overall characteristicof our people it would be resourceful and peaceful.
