Ltd Movement Sfera has been established in April 2018 as a result of transformation of Interregional youth social movement of support of voluntary initiatives SFERA.
The aim of the organization is development and support of youth initiatives by providing young people from all over Russia with access to international volunteering regardless of nation, religious, social status and disadvantages. The main activities are: international voluntary workamps, ESC and other long-term voluntary projects for youth, educational activities for youngsters and organizations involved in social service, promotional campaigns of volunteering, charity and social services, events om intercultural communication. The most of the organizational activities allow to exchange experiences, knowledge and skills between youth from EECA, European Union and other countries of the world in order to inspire a sense of solidarity, tolerance and mutual understanding.
We organize workcamps in Russia, around 5 projects per year, involving foreign volunteers and local community into voluntary work. We send Russian volunteers abroad (over 600 every year) for workcamps, as well as for ESC and Erasmus+ trainings/youth exchanges. We're working with young people all over Russia, informing them about possibilities of international volunteering.

| How do you prepare the volunteers for their volunteer experience with us?
(max 5000 characteres)
While applying for the projects, volunteer is provided with informational support via e-mails and information on Russian web-site of Erasmus+. We always provide volunteers with contact details of volunteers we’ve sent before for EVS to provide networking and exchange of information between them. When the project is approved, volunteer has pre-departure session face-to-face or via skype concerning all practical issues, rights and responsibilities, EVS insurance specifics etc. We organize short pre-departure trainings and informational meetings for volunteers leaving for EVS and provide them with full information on rights and responsibilities and all technical aspects of EVS. We also arrange EVS insurance for them and provide with emergency contact details of coordinators in Russia or SALTO EECA in serious cases. We actively work with volunteers leaving for EVS to prepare them fully, informing about all challenges and problems they may face.
During the project we stay in touch with the volunteer to check up on their learning progress and to see how things are going. In case of conflict situations we try to mediate it. We keep in touch with the volunteer during their voluntary service, evaluating the project and mediating in case of conflicts, as well as dealing with consulate, insurance etc.
After EVS we invite them for evaluation meeting and also talk with them about achieved results.
Afterwards volunteer is invited to take part in follow-up event centralized for all EVSers from Russia. Volunteer is also evaluating her project afterwards with our help, and any initiative for personal follow-up is supported!
