Abstract

The webinar will give an overview of CUP digital tools (course components; CTD courses; platforms - CLMS Primary & Main, CambridgeOne, Bookshelf; World of Better Learning Blog, Cambridge Covid Support website, Online dictionary etc) enabling teachers to be fully equipped for teaching their students remotely (General English and CE exams)

 

About the speaker

Ekaterina (Katia) Zhura - CUP Russia marketing manager and digital trainer. Katia graduated Faculty of Foreign Languages ​ ​ and Regional Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University, she possesses some hands-on experience in teaching English to primary, secondary and adult learners, is a speaker of various international ELT conferences and is a co-author of an English language coursebook for 11th grade Russian state school students (The English Language, grade 11. Academkniga/Uchebnik Moscow, 2019; S. Ter-Minasova, E. Mishieva, E. Zhura)

Abstract

These are challenging times, but it is important that your very very  young (3-5 age old) students keep up their English and feel secure that life is going on as normal. This talk will focus on some practical tips how to plan online lessons and to teach online pre-primary students.
