Dear colleagues,

The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is organizing its 11th International Conference: Pharmacy Science and Practice and Contemporary Pharmacy Issues Challenges and Expectations 2021. The conference is dedicated to the role of pharmacistsduring the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will be held online on the 22^nd of October.

We invite you to join the section on the history of pharmacy. Pleaseshare your research and views about the role of pharmacists, pharmacy organizations and the pharmaceutical industryduring very difficult historical periods.

The COVID-19 pandemic calls for a look back at challenging moments in history and to assess the role of pharmacists. How did they act and react in times of conflict, such as wars; natural disasters, such as earthquakes and floods; and past epidemics and pandemics. What did they learn from these experiences? How did these experiences change pharmaceutical practice and industry?

We kindly ask you to send a short abstract of 300 words to Vilma Gudiene, the organizer of the History of Pharmacy Section. We look forward to your topics and abstracts byOctober 8th.
