Task 2. Solvetheproblem

A 19-year-old patient consulted a dentist with complaints of bleeding gums when brushing his teeth and eating solid food, and occasional discomfort in the gum area. From the anamnesis it turned out that the patient had been smoking for 3 years. Bleeding gums notes for six months, he did not go to the dentist. In the area of the 11th tooth - more than 1/3 of plaque; 16, 26 - supragingival tartar up to 1/3; 36, 46 - supragingival tartar up to 2/3; 31 - supragingival tartar up to 2/3 and there is subgingival tartar; abundant soft plaque in the area of all teeth up to 1/3 of the crown. The plaque was stained blue and red with Miradent dye. Describe this dye? What hygiene index was used? Calculate the index?
