NadezhdaKonstantinovnaKrupskaya (1869-1939)

NadezhdaKonstantinovna Krupskaya, an outstanding figure of the Communist party, organizer of the Soviet enlightenment, and a major Soviet teacher, made a huge contribution to the construction of the Soviet school and to the development of Soviet pedagogical theory. NadezhdaKonstantinovna was born in 1869 in St. Petersburg in an impoverished noble family. Her father, Konstantin Ignatievich, a retired officer, died at 44 of tuberculosis. All the burden of her daughter's upbringing fell on her mother, Elizabeth Vasilievna, who, despite financial difficulties, sent her daughter to the private girls ' gymnasium of Princess Obolenskaya in St. Petersburg. Krupskaya was a home teacher.

Before becoming a loyal companion and wife of Vladimir Lenin, Krupskaya was engaged in teaching. After graduating from high school, she received the title of home teacher and gave lessons in mathematics. Later, when Krupskaya studied Marxist ideas and became imbued with their spirit, she went to work in an evening school for workers. There Krupskaya taught the proletariat to count and write, and actively promoted Marxism among the working people.

At the same time, she continued to engage in education for children. Krupskaya stated that the school should " educate a new person", and work and knowledge should become inseparable. She worked on organizing the proletarian youth movement, the Komsomol, and the pioneer movement. It was Krupskaya who first made a speech about how schools should be secular, and teaching in them should be Patriotic and international.
