Uzbekov Timur Пофк/м-з-1 group Annotation The title of the article is Strength and Conditioning for Professional Boxing: Recommendations for Physical Preparation. It is written by Alan Ruddock in the Strength and Conditioning Journal, June 2016 - Volume 38 - Issue 3 - p 81-90. The main idea of the article is to describe professional boxing as a popular pan-global sport that attracts considerable interest and revenue and as a high-intensity sport that requires a range of well-adapted physiological. It tells us about the boxer’s preparations for the trainings and competitions. I also found out the phases of the professional boxing.
The article describes the physiological demands in professional boxing such as volume and intensity, force-velocity, and impulse-momentum relationships, that professional boxing comprises repeated high-intensity actions interspersed with brief periods of low-intensity actions or recovery. I learned about the influence of physiological requirements on technical ability and also about the mobility and master's training. This article contains a large amount of useful information. The article gives a brief description of Boxing as a sport and compares various factors that affect the quality of training. I found this article interesting for me, because this topic fascinates me in everyday life.
