2. Have you ever thought about this? Read the text and answer the questions.

Do you think that only your family members or your pets live in the flat or house? Oh, no. There is also secret life – household pets (бытовые насекомые) that live together with you side by side. The most popular house insects are cockroaches (таракан). Cockroaches are glad to live in warm and dark places. They are gross (отвратительный) and carry nasty diseases (неприятное заболевание). You will have difficulty in getting rid of cockroaches. Bedbugs (клоп) usually live in bedrooms. They feed on (питаться) our blood while we sleep. Don’t let your room get too warm as bedbugs lay eggs (откладывать яйца) in warm temperatures. Keep it cool! It is hard to see dust mites (пылевой клещ), because they are tiny. These insects like eating dead skin and hair. Remember to vacuum (пылесосить) your flat or house regularly. This will help to get rid of (избавляться) them.
