St Andrew is Scotland's patron saint and on November 30 we celebrate St Andrew's Day with the rest of the world. Hogmanayis one of Scotland's most well-know and best loved traditions - there really is no experience like it. Whether it's fantastic fireworks, live music, street parties, cosy pubs, or parades of dancing fire, we have it all. Burns Night On 25 January every year, Scots and Scots-at-heart come together to celebrate the life and works of our national poet, Robert Burns. Edinburgh festivals It is also the world's leading festival city. And in 2017, Edinburgh celebrated 70 years of its world-famous festivals with a packed programme of special events.
