Pair work. Students are asked to create a questionnaire to investigate attitude to money in an average family (5 questions). Students then interview each other, They are given the rubric to evaluate each other's answers. It includes such criteria as cohesion, mechanics, idiomatic vocabulary (which is the objective under control), and contents (the highest score here is given if the student answered all five questions of the questionniare, that means that students do not only give grades but also fill in the rubric with the questions they made for the questionnaire).

Summative assessment.

To be done at home or in class: Just like the characters from the newspaper you read yesterday in class, you are invited to write a column for a newspaper about money in your family: how it is earned, spent or saved, your attitude to money and how you financial position has been changing through years. Write 250 words. Mind the new idioms.
