Information technology (IT) is a collection of methods and means used to collect, store, process and disseminate information. Nowadays, people's lives are becoming more and more dependent on IT technologies. Every day we definitely go to various social networks, check the news, communicate with friends and all this with the help of our phones - the brightest representatives of modern IT technologies. Later, we go to work, where most often we meet with computers.

Thanks to them, we can perform various activities: we work with text in the text editor Microsoft Word, solve various types of equations and draw up diagrams in Microsoft Excel, professionally work with photography in Adobe Photoshop, create great video work in Sony Vegas Pro, and the like. For people, many of these programs are becoming the main source of income and are currently quite popular. In Adobe Photoshop, mostly professional photographers work, and they process their photos, which after that can get on the cover of some eminent magazine, or some photographers arrange exhibitions that bring them income.

So, with just one program, talent, and dedication, people become famous and can ensure themselves a happy life without financial worries. Or take a visual effects specialist, for example. These people on the monitor can turn an ordinary video into a work of art that, when viewed, will surprise and delight people. These specialists will undoubtedly be awarded for such skill, because in many film awards there is a category: the best visual effects. It's not even worth talking about the fact that they earn their living by doing this. In most cases, people will have to relearn. Someone will be able, but someone will remain with nothing. In most cases, people simply do not realize exactly how modern technology affects them. An ordinary teenager, using the phone, communicates with his friends, who can be both in the next room and on the other side of the mainland, reads various books, in his native and foreign languages, learns about the news of the world, expresses his opinion about various situations, puts your photos, plays different games. Of course, nothing serious, but then the friendship will be interrupted, the unfinished book, which cannot be bought in paper version, will never be finished, and his personal opinion, most likely, will not be heard. Some will be able to survive this, while others, in turn, may fall into depression, from which it will be very difficult to get out, because one should not forget that in adolescence people have a very weak psyche. In fact, it is very difficult to say exactly how information technology affects adolescents who will become adults in the future, because exactly that generation of children of the Internet, for the most part, are still children. But we can learn how modern technical realities affect people who, part of their lives, did not know anything about the Internet. We can meet with conflicting opinions, but it should be borne in mind that every opinion expressed has the right to life.

It is thanks to a good knowledge of technology that the younger generation receives much more information than their peers a few years ago. Already today one can observe how many adolescents in their quickness of mind, ability to think outside the box, to master information sometimes surpass the adult generation. Modern children were born in the age of computers, so they, for sure, will have to study, work and live with their help. If the previous generation received information, mainly from books, then the modern generation receives information through video, television, and more and more information is received by schoolchildren through a computer.

Information technologies are called upon, based and rationally using modern achievements in the field of computer technology and other high technologies, the latest communication tools, software and practical experience, to solve problems on the effective organization of the information process to reduce the cost of time, labor, energy and material resources in all areas human life and modern society. Information technologies interact and are often a constituent part of services, management, industrial production, social processes. New communication opportunities using the Internet are changing the approaches and attitudes of people to information technology.

Thus, the role of information technologies for a modern person is very large, because now more and more various processes in human life are taking place not without the participation of information technologies.
