Личные местоимения (Personal Pronouns) – это местоимения I, you, he, she, it, we, they. Основное назначение личных местоимений – замена существительных, если из контекста понятно, о чем или ком идет речь.

Примеры предложений:

· We have to go.
Мы должны идти.

Ты/Вы хороший работник.

Местоимение it обозначает все неодушевленные предметы, события, явления, и т. п. (то есть соответствует среднему роду в русском языке). Также it часто используется для обозначения животных.

· It is a cold day.
Холодный день.

· It is raining.
Идет дождь.

Местоимение they используется как для обозначения людей, так и предметов:

· I’ve found my books. They were in my bag.
Я нашел свои книги. Они были у меня в сумке.

· There are some people waiting for you. They are in the office.
Вас ждут какие-то люди. Они в офисе.
