What do you expect of a friend As a general rule this relation concerns two people who enjoy being together. Friends never hesitate to help each other and are always ready to do favour but they expect the same in return. True friends, however, give and take without expecting anything in return; they relieve our griefs, celebrate our joys and share our secrets. My best and true friend never hesitates to tell me the bitter truths when they must be told; for my part, I have to accept all his remarks. In fact, it’s through tolerating differences of opinions that friendship can last. Don’t you think so??? Questions 1/Read the passage and pick out expressions which answer the title:
