It was the end of the semester and time for the final exams. As a 9th grader, I wasn’t used to all the pressure. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone, so I had to find a way to pass science. I had to think of something, so I decided to make a little cheat sheet. All week long, I studied really hard, and I almost thought I didn’t need it. But then, just in case, I put it in my pocket. When the exam came, I put the little cheat sheet under the desk. I didn’t even need it. But at the end of the exam, I put it in my pocket, and the supervisor saw me with it. He took my paper and told my teacher. I felt so embarrassed. I thought I was in a nightmare. I was sent to the office; I had never been so scared. I was always a good student, and teachers always liked me, but after I saw the disappointment on my teacher’s face, I wanted to cry and tell her I was sorry. She just sent me to the principal’s office. As I was sitting there, I was going through hell. I wanted to rewind time and thought, “What would my parents think?” I knew how to get out of trouble.” Act all innocent, cry. I thought it worked. The principal told me my teacher liked me a lot and gave me a second chance. I have learned a lesson the hard way. Yet my teacher helped me, and so did the principal. They all helped me. I didn’t know why, but then I guess they all believe in me and decided to give me a second chance.
