+When penicillin appeared, death due to bacterial infection became rare. As a result, mortality rate greatly reduced, making a lifespan longer.	-Using antibiotics for a long timebuilds up tolerance so every new more serious disease requires a more powerful remedy
+they are well researched, effective and affordable to buy without special prescriptions	-they kill not only harmful but also beneficial bacteria and lower person’s immunity

2) Television

+it is one of the main sources of current news so people are always aware of all important world’s events	- by means of TV, governments can impose their will and ideas on the people, making them a trusting (доверчивый) and obedient (послушный) kind of zombies
+it providespeople with all kinds of entertainment as well as sports events. Besides, there are various educational channels which add much to our general knowledge	- itdestroys people’s brain cells and renders them emotionally and psychologically damaged (делает их эмоционально и психически ущербными/надломленными)
+TVenables us to “travel” to different countries broadening our cultural mind	-Unfortunately,most of us have no idea what to do with our free time without it

1) The Internet

+ the Internet makes us global citizens who are aware of all latest news and events in a few seconds	-it is a big time killer as people do not manage to reasonably limit their time on the web
+itgives people a great opportunity to find and keep in touch with former classmates and old friends, and communicate with relatives living far away	-it can be dangerous because of cyberbullying and stealing important data both financial and social
+you can get instant information concerning work, studies and any topic you like	-inexperienced or careless users can get harmful viruses, worms and other types of malware which can badly damage their computers or lead to privacy issues
