Describe the image. On my original ppt, this was an exercise. The image shows a wall, built of stone/grey bricks. On one side of the wall, there is a field where animals are grazing. It’s a lovely blue sky and the sun is shining. On the other side, the animals are dead and the green pasture has turned red. That’s red with blood. A boy wearing a blue jumper has got a pickaxe and he has broken through the wall. He is talking to a man who is holding a knife. The knife is dripping with blood. • What does the wall represent? • What does the boy represent? • What is the mood of this image? • How does it make you feel? • Do you think it’s fair to show graphic or distasteful images to people? Why or why not?
