LENINSKY DISTRICT

Leninsky District of Yaroslavl was founded in 1936. The territory of the district is 10 square kilometres, with the population of 70 thousand people. The district is situated in the central part of the city. The main particularity - Lyceum № 7 is situated in this district.

The borderline of the district is the following streets: Polushkina Rosha, October Avenue, Avtozavodskaya Street, Uglichskaya Street, Lenin Avenue, Sverdlov Street, Pobeda Street, Respublikanskaya Street.

FRUNZENSKY DISTRICT

The district was founded in February 1975. Its territory is 37 square kilometres, its population is 124 thousand people. The territory of the district could be divided into ten main zones. The district stretches from the northwest to the southeast along the right hand bank of the Volga for 12 kilometres.

Frunzensky District is a river port on the Volga, connecting the basins of the Kama, the Neva, the Don and the Caspian Sea.

The district borders on Krasnoperekopsky, Zavolzhsky, Kirovsky and Yaroslavsky Country Districts.
