Warm up

Today we will learn new words meaning professions and jobs. To start our lesson I’d like you to study these words.

The teacher introduces new words to pupils. Listen to me please and repeat them after the teacher. They may also read them aloud to check reading and pronunciation.

 

Singing a song “about people’s job”

-Now pupils please open your vocabularies and write down the new words. Here are the new words which are used to talk about jobs. We’ll see and practise them later in a song” People work”

Now pupils look at the ppresentation and learn the new words (jobs)

 

Pupils look at the pictures and practice saying new words. They also practice using she/he in the sentences. They repeat the words and learn new jobs.

My best friend is Diana. She is eleven. She likes fish and popcorn. She has got a brother. His name is Mike. Her brother works at school. He is a teacher. Her favourite colour is pink. Her favourite subjects are English and Maths. She has got a brown hair and blue eyes. She likes to wear a red T-shirt and blue jeans. I love my friend.
