॥ NAVARATNAṂ ॥
Introduction: This is the Sixth book among the Sodash Grantha. It was composed in V. S. 1558 at Adel. Acharya's disciple Govind Dube of Kheralu in Gujarat was worried. He could not concentrate in seva, his mind was distracted, so he wrote to Acharya and sought his advice. So Acharya composed his work and sent it to him. In this work Shree Vallabhacharyaji asserts that a devotee should completely abdicate all types of worries, misgivings etc., including those for even attainment of GOD, because GOD the Divine love, will never act against the interests of devotees; GOD will never allow his beloved souls to be worldly or ritualistic. He further advises that one should Concentrate in God's, leaving everything else to GOD's wish and continusously recite "
च ि न ् त ा क ा प ि न क ा र ् य ा न ि व े द ि त ा त ् म भ ि ः क द ा प ी त ि । cintā kā pi na kā ryā niveditā tmabhiḥ kadā pī ti. Those who have initiated themselves formally by offering everything to the Supreme God. should never worry about anything. GOD SHREE KRUSHNA in the path of grace will never allow his beloved devotees to go down to worldly ends. (1)
न ि व े द न ण त ु स ् म र ् त ् त व ् य ं स र ् व थ ा त ा ह ् श ै र ् ज न ै ः । nivedanaṇ a tu smarttavyaṃ sarvathā tā hś airjanaiḥ . Such people (the initiated. and adopted people) i. e. those who belong to KRUSHNA should in all respects reflect of his dedication in company with those who are great in the path of grace. The Supreme GOD who is also the inner soul of all, will do everything according to his own wishes. (2)
स र ् व े ष ा ं प ् र भ ु स ं ब ं ध ो न प ् र त ् य े क म ि त ि स ् थ ि त ि ः । sarveṣ ā ṃ prabhu saṃ baṃ dho na pratyekamiti sthitiḥ . Once initiated with the Supreme Spirit by offering everything to KRUSHNA, All so offered are equally associated with GOD SHREE KRUSHNA. No one has any individual special relationship. That is the basic fact of the path of grace. Hence where is the cause of worry even in the case of any other use or usage. So also if it happens in one's own case, there should be no worry. (3)
अ ज ् ञ ा न ा द थ व ा ज ् ञ ा न ा त क ृ त म ा त ् म न ि व े द न म । ajñ ā nā dathavā jñ ā nā ta kṛ tamā tma nivedanama. Those who have offered everything of oneself whether with or without proper understanding have not to worry anymore. what is there to worry by those who have completely identified their life with SHREE KRUSHNA? (4)
त थ ा न ि व े द न े च ि न ् त ा त ् य ा ज ् य ा श ् र ी प ु र ु ष ो त ् त म े । tathā nivedane cintā tyā jyā ś rī puruṣ ottame. One must not worry about his dedication to Shree Purushottam. Hari is himself all powerful, so one must not worry about dedication of others also. (5)
ल ो क े स ् व ा स ् थ ् य ं त थ ा व े द े ह र ि स ् त ु न क र ि ष ् य त ि । loke svā sthyaṃ tathā vede haristu na kariṣ yati. HARI (Shree KRUSHNA), being in the path of grace will not stabilise devotees in worldly affairs or in affairs relating to Vedas. You all devotees be mere witnesses to whatever happens. (6)
स े व ा क ृ त ि र ् ग ु र ो र ा ज ् ञ ा sब ा ध न ं व ा ह र ो च ् छ य ा । sevā kṛ tirgurorā jñ ā sbā dhanaṃ vā harocchayā . One should do divine service of KRUSHNA as ordained by one's Teacher. In case of self perception of any other special desire of HARI Shree Krushna it (the above process) could be otherwise. Therefore in any case one should live happily by keeping the conscience inclined only to the divine service of Shree KRUSHNA (7)
च ि त ् त ो द ् व े ग ं व ि ध ा य ा प ि ह र ि र ् य द ् य त क र ि ष ् य त ि । cittodvegaṃ vidhā yā pi hariryadyata kariṣ yati. During the divine service or otherwise in case conscience gets afflicted, one should forthwith give up worries on the account thinking that whatever HARI Shree KRUSHNA will do is only that way, HIS Lila mere sport. (8)
त स ् म ा त ् स र ् व ा त म न ा न ि त ् य ं श ् र ी क ृ ष ् ण ः श र ण ं म म । tasmā tsarvā tamanā nityaṃ ś rī kṛ ṣ ṇ aḥ ś araṇ aṃ mama. Therefore one should live always and in all respects, reciting constantly. This alone is my conviction. (9)
॥ इ त ि श ् र ी व ल ् ल भ ा च ा र ् य व ि र च ि त ं न व र त ् न ं स म ा प ् त ं ॥ .. iti ś rī vallabhā cā rya viracitaṃ navaratnaṃ samā ptaṃ .. (6)
Thus ends 'NAVARATNAM’ by VALLABHACHARYA (6)
अ न ् त ः क र ण प ् र ब ो ध
