COURSE ASSESSMENT

The credit assessment criteria for the course in term one will include:

· attendance

· in-class participation

· project presentations

· home preparation

· final papers’ results

By the end of term two the students are to take an examination in Spoken English. The examination will include:

· a monologue presentation;

· provide an explanatory comment of the notion (3), translate the underlined part of a sentence into Russian (3);

· read a newspaper article and discuss the problems stated in it;

· examination papers.
