Prizes

The first the prize in each of the three category is 500 Euros. The first prizes in the PhD and Postdoc categories are also awarded a 20+10 mins. plenary talk in SLE 2020. The 2nd and 3rd prizes, a three-year SLE membership.

Applicants should mark the option for each of the prize categories upon abstract submission.

IMPORTANT DATES

15 December 2018: notification of workshop acceptance

15 January 2019: deadline for submission of all abstracts

31 March 2019: notification of paper acceptance

1 April 2019: early bird registration starts

1 May 2019: full fee registration starts

31 May 2019: closing registration date for participants with a paper

21 July 2019: closing registration date for participants without a paper, and for co-authors of papers were at least one author has already registered.

Please note that papers where none of the authors have registered by 31st May will not be scheduled. The schedule will be published online in June after the registration deadline. The schedule will then be modified only if cancellations happen.

REGISTRATION

Registration will open on 1 April 2019. SLE meetings are member-only conferences. That is, all participants with a paper in the programme will have to be or become members of the Societas Linguistica Europaea.

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

There will be a reception on Wednesday evening (included in the registration fee), a walking tour in the Leipzig city centre (included in the registration fee) and a conference dinner on Friday evening (not included in the conference fee). On Saturday afternoon and on Sunday, there will be a number of excursions (not included).
