Experiences in China

Three words to describe this experience: happy, excitement and crazy!

Being asked to write about what I think about China- it’s quite difficult to summarize, but I’ll give it best shot to express my feelings and thoughts. It’s been a fantastic journey so far and on the way I’ve encountered many challenges, whether it is language or culture. Overall, China has brought more positive influence upon my life, actually so much more than its negative aspects of things to the extent that I’m considering a life here in China in the future.

So far I have appreciated the opportunities that have come to my way whilst being here; and it’s a privilege to be here experiencing the most interesting and unique culture in the world. There are many things I love about China, its food and travelling although they are just two of the many things. I will share with you some highlights of my journeys around China: history of Nanjing, modern city of Shanghai, antique gardens of Suzhou, West Lake of Hangzhou, cheeky monkey of Mount E’mei, Great Wall in Beijing, sleeping panda of Sichuan, Yangzhou fried rice, Piano Island of Gulangyu, Opticians of Wenzhou, nice food in Hong Kong, business ventures of Yiwu.

The little trips around China have been incredibly unique in their own way. The friends I made along the way and the help I received in to make my journey the one with feelings. I love meeting new people and I’ve met some really good guys round UNNC and really enjoy being here and I thank my friends who have been around and you know who I’m talking about, especially my language partners who have been great helping improve my Chinese to its level right now. China has brought to me beautiful memories and I am looking forward to cherishing every moment now until the end.
