Challenge Cup 2018

We are pleased to invite you to take part in the English Language Students’ Olympiad “Academic and Professional Business Language Skills. Challenge Cup 2018”. Junior and senior students specializing in economics and business, who are interested in showing their language competence as well as knowledge of the theory and practice of economics and management, are welcome to participate in this event.

The Olympiad is held by the English Language Department №1.

The Olympiad will take place in Saint-Petersburg (Marata street, 27) on the 16-20^h of May 2018.

The Olympiad working language is English.

The Olympiad Program:

16-18 May, 2018 (participation in presence)

Contests on Speaking Skills

Distant participation

1. Lexis, reading and grammar test.

2. Translation. Novel.

3. Translation. Poetry.

4. Professional Translation. Article

5. Fairy Tale. Interpretation in economic context.

Tasks will be 30^th April, 2018 at http: //vk. com/club67078000

Deadline is the 20^th of May.

Lexis, reading and grammar test will be held 18-19 May 2018 ON-LINE.

To participate in this contest you must register and get a login and password.

The winners will be in every nomination.

Challenge Cup Winner is the person with the maximum score who took part in at least 4 nominations.

On the Judging Panel there will be university professors and invitees.

The participation in the Olympiad is open to everyone and free of charge.
