Chores are small jobs we do in or around the house: wash the dishes, do the laundry, … Errands are small jobs we do away from the house: go to the bank, go grocery shopping, … Look at the chores below and try to say them in English. Teacher’s notes This is a simple exercise with chores and errands. First have the students try to say the chores in English. Help them if they get stuck. Then have a short discussion by having the students ask each other how often they do the chores or who in their house does them. Do the same thing with the Errands on page 2. Answer Key Chores 1.
