We often describe trends moving up or down and trends staying at the same level on graphs or charts. We use nouns and verbs to describe trends.
· Fluctuate means go up and down continuously. Prices fluctuate according to the season. · Top/bottom out means to reach the highest/lowest point and then go down/up.
