Financial liabilities of participating in international practice

After the distribution to the countries the student signs a contract with KSMU, pays the registration fee for participation in the program.

Student party undertakes to pay all transportation, visa, insurance and other expenses incurred in connection with the passage of foreign practice.

In case of unilateral exchange student is required to pay a fee for room and board at the receiving party.

Department of International Cooperation of KSMU doesn’t provide commercial services in the preparation of documents for obtaining visa, buying tickets, etc.

During the practice period the student is required to:

- Comply with all the laws of the hosting country;

- Fully implement the tasks of the exchange program;

- Follow all regulations of the hospital, comply with the internal regime of the hospital, obey all the safety regulations;

- Attend at least 80% of the practice time in order to get an official certificate of International Federation of Medical Students Associations.

- Master the practical skills and theory, provided by the curriculum of the course and faculty.

- Fill in the TaMSA-Tatarstan logbook during the internship in a hospital, where all the work done in the department should be captured, as well as the recommendation letter written by the tutor.

- Actively participate in the social life of the hospital, participate in clinical conferences and research activities of the department.

Upon arrival in order to pass the practice exam the student must provide the following documents:

1) IFMSA certificate

2) Filled TaMSA-Tatarstan logbook

3) The recommendation letter from the head of the department

In early September there will be practice exam, which is required to pass to transfer to the next study year.

Department of international affairs of KSMU is responsible for arranging the place of your practice, for receiving invitation letters and other documents required for visa, controls the quality of international exchange, issues and maintains records for passing final test. Moreover, department organizes the meetings with KSMU students explaining the rules of exchange, filling logbook etc.
