Passive “Did you know….? ”

In active voice sentences the subject does the action.

Example: Liz played the piano. = subject + verb

In passive voice sentences the subject receives the action.

Example: The piano was played by Liz. = subject + verb be + past participle

Activity 1: Complete the following sentences with a Present or Past Simple passive verb form.

Example: The piano is played by Liz. = subject + verb be + past participle

Mr Adams was bitten by the dog.
