Project name	HSE – Saint Petersburg International Ambassadors

Project summary	Ambassadors are international students of HSE – Saint Petersburg selected on a competitive basis who have passed a special training, initiate and take active part in a number of activities aimed at: Strengthening of HSE – Saint Petersburg’s international reputation; Raising HSE – Saint Petersburg’s profile in the international scientific and educational environment and among international applicants; Attracting international applicants for studies in HSE – Saint Petersburg educational programs.
Project goals	Internationalization and strengthening of international reputation of HSE – Saint Petersburg, promotion of HSE – Saint Petersburg brand abroad, attracting fundraising and active recruitment of talented youth for studies and research at HSE – Saint Petersburg.
Project tasks and skills	Initiation and participation in various online and offline events aimed at enhancing HSE – Saint Petersburg’s international reputation and attracting foreign applicants to study in HSE – Saint Petersburg educational programs
Entry requirements	· To be an international student at HSE – Saint Petersburg; · 3rd-4th year bachelor students, 2nd year master students; · To record a short video answering the question ‘Why I want and can become an International Ambassador of HSE – Saint Petersburg’ and briefly describe what projects can be realized for the benefit and with the support of HSE – Saint Petersburg; · Strong ties with the schools, as well as with other educational institutions overseas are welcomed; · CV/resume mentioning previous relevant work/volunteer/conference participation experience; · Absence of academic and financial debts and disciplinary troubles; · A letter of recommendation from one of the following: 1. Faculty Dean; 2. Academic supervisor of your study program; 3. Head of any department or research unit; 4. Chairman of the Student Council; 5. Head of the Unit for Extracurricular Activities; 6. Head of the International Office; 7. Director of the Center for Organization of Science and Academic Development; 8. Head of Internationalisation Steering Group; · Fluent and competent verbal speech, communication skills, friendliness.

Selection criteria	In the case of a competitive situation in selection for the project, candidates are evaluated using the following criteria: A convincing portfolio with a list of implemented projects; A letter of recommendation from university staff (such as Faculty Dean, academic supervisor of the educational program, head of any department or research unit, head of the International Office, director of the Center for Organization of Science and Academic Development, head of Internationalisation Steering Group).
Project period	01. 12. 2021 – 30. 06. 2022
Workload (hours per week) per one participant	Approximately 2, 5 astronomical hours per week
Number of credits
Final assessment format	At the end of the project, ambassadors must submit a written report on accomplished work with an indication of the activities carried out and statistics on attendance, as well as photo and video materials
Project results presentation format	Exam
Educational results of the project	· Project participants have improved their project managing skills; · Project participants gained experience in organizing PR events; · Project participants have improved teamwork skills, expanded network of contacts; Project participants gained cross-cultural communication skills.
Assessment criteria	Resulting grade: international campus promotion (assessed by the project supervisor) – 30% + teamwork (assessed by other project participants) – 10% + practical implementation of activities according to the project proposal – 60% (assessed by the project supervisor)
