Vacancy –Teacher/ Teaching Assistant at Britannia School

Britannia School - a traditional British nursery school in Moscow is seeking to appoint a teaching assistant for children aged 2-6 years old.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the Head teacher and class teachers.

· Assist in the implementation of the British early years curriculum and help monitor students progress.

· Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.

· Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists, as necessary.

· Assist class teachers (for Teaching Assistants) with maintaining student records.

· Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills

· Prepare and present displays of student’s work.

· Support class teachers in photocopying and other tasks in order to support teaching.

· Undertake other duties from time to time as the head teacher requires.

· Support the aims and ethos of the school

· Follow the behavior policy set in place by the school.

· Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.

· Attend team and staff meetings.

· Undertake professional duties that may be reasonably assigned by the Head teacher

· Be proactive in matters relating to health and safety.

Requirements:

· University degree or students of final year of Bachelor’s/ Master’s programs

· Fluency in English

· Good communication skills

· Flexibility

· Prior experience of working with young children is preferable

· Computer skills

· Detail oriented
