What is Summer Medical Exchange Program?

Niigata University School of Medicine has been practicing student exchanges with Russia and China as one of the most important international activities for more than 25 years since 1993. Unfortunately, the program was canceled last year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but this year it will be held online. This year, we also invite medical students from other Japanese universities to participate. Please see the list on the right for overseas and Japanese participating universities.

The interaction and discussion experience with medical students from abroad is the first step to become a doctor who will play an active role on the international stage in the future, even though it is not possible to travel abroad at the moment. Let's take this opportunity to acquire extra knowledge and new friends!

1^st Day August 5^th, 2021 (Thu) Opening ceremony Self-introduction & Ice Break Presentations made by students Opinion exchange meeting 1 (free talk in small groups)

2^nd Day August 6^th, 2021 (Fri) Student Forum (Presentation / Discussion) Opinion exchange meeting 2 (free talk in small groups) Niigata University School of Medicine Introduction (Admission Guide, Curriculum, etc., International Student Experience Presentation) Closing session
