Ahmed Abdellatif – The Skilled Board Member Of General Directorate Of Antiquities And Museums

He is elected as Board Member of General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Sudan and at the same time, he is one of the Board of Directors and Group President of CTC Group.

When we talk about his roles and responsibilities, they are many, where Mr. Ahmed Abdellatif sits on the board of several public companies and is actively engaged in a number of civil society organisations. You better know that Sudan is a culturally diverse country with a remarkable history and a rich archaeological heritage, but still, it is not grown fully. Mr. Ahmed Abdellatif Sudan is famous as he is an avid art collector and always had a strong interest in the arts and culture of Sudan, hence appointed as the Board Member of General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Sudan. When we talk about his most notable contribution, it was his involvement in the Merowe Dam Archaeological Salvage Project which took place in 2008 and he has got great popularity by the same. He was also in the partnership with New Holland Construction, one of CTC Group’s longstanding business partners, and here the project aimed to rescue archaeological sites endangered by the construction of Merowe Dam.
