My Hobby Is Cooking

Who among us does not like to have a good meal? Borsch, goulash, Russian salad, rolls and pizza- just one mention of these dishes makes us feel hunger. However, I always find it interesting not only trying various culinary novelties, but cooking them as well. I am an explorer by nature, so during my childhood I always enjoyed watching my mom in the kitchen making a meal. I thought it was amazing, how one integrated dish could be created from several different components.

When I became elder and with mom’s help mastered the basic rules of classic dishes, I wanted to experiment. That is why now I often find online unusual recipes and cook an interesting meal according to them, and in most cases, it turns out very tasty.

My favorite trend in cooking is creating desserts. Most of all I like to cook cakes with ornaments from flower paste. This material is very flexible and let make various shaped items as well as create entire designs. Not long ago, I baked a birthday cake for my younger brother for his birthday and decorated it with characters from the cartoon «Smeshariki» made from flower paste. It turned out very nice and original, and Cyril and his young guests who came on birthday party, were simply delighted. To give people joy and bring them pleasure is the main task of any cook and pastry chef.

Cookery is an art, which one wants to learn constantly, and as there is a huge number of dishes, and every day new recipes are created, I think, I will never be bored engaged in this business.
