I love baby booties. I think little feet look so adorable wrapped in “yarny” warmth. This crochet pattern is easy to make and available in three different sizes from newborn to 12 months. I added a strap and button so you can adjust the fit. They don’t take much yarn so they are great to work through your leftover balls.

You can trim them in a contrasting color yarn and add a decorative bow button for a sweet little girl look.

Or add some furrylicious fake fur for that Uggs look. Isn’t the monkey button cute?

They are great for both boys and girls and don’t use up much yarn so make them in lots of different colors.

Fuzzy Booties

Materials:
Size: Newborn to 12 months

Materials:
• Worsted Weight yarn such as Red Heart Soft or Bernat Satin, in two colors
• Bernat Pipsqueek or other novelty yarn
• Hook H/5. 00 mm
• Yarn needle for weaving ends

Gauge: 15 hdc; 10 rows = 4”

Abbreviations:
Beg – beginning
C1 – color 1
C2 – color 2
Ch – chain
Dc2tog – double crochet 2 stitches together
Hdc – half double crochet
Hdc2tog – half double crochet 2 stitches together
R – Row/Round
Sc – single crochet
Sc2tog – single crochet 2 stitches together
Sl st(s) – slip stitch(es)
St(s) – stitch(es)

• Beginning ch1 does not count as a stitch
• Start each Row/Round in the same stitch as the beginning ch1
• Number in ( ) at end of Row/Round indicates the number of stitches in that Row or Round
• Work instructions in [ ] or between *, the designated number of times
