The statue is of the Roman goddess of Freedom. The Statue represents freedom and is a sign of welcoming immigrants to America. Times Square Times Square is a big intersection (Carrefour) in the downtown of the city. Times Square is the most visited tourist site in the world. It is very bright with lights and advertisements (publicité s). Central Park Central Park is a large park in the center of New York City. The park has several lakes and ponds, playgrounds, walking paths, ice skating rinks and even a zoo!
The Metropolitan Museum of Art The Metropolitan Museum is the largest art museum in America. The museum is famous for its collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts and also for modern art. The Empire State Building The Empire State building is a 102-story skyscraper (gratte-ciel)and was the world’s tallest building until 1972. Today, many tourists go to the observation deck at the top of the tower to enjoy the amazing view of the city.
